The Si83406BDA-IF is an isolated smart switch available in the sourcing switch configuration. With a low RON the device can provide high continuous current while demagnetizing an unlimited amount of energy from inductive loads. The Si83406BDA-IF is a 2 channel device integrating safety rated isolation in a compact DFN package. The logic interface is a full SPI interface capable of controlling up to 128 channels with 4 MCU pins. The Si83406BDA-IF is loaded with protection features to prevent switch damage making it the most rugged and reliable switch on the market. It also provides 8 different diagnostic reports to the MCU, ensuring customers have detailed information about how the switches and their loads are behaving on the other side of the isolation barrier.
