The SI5344A-D08372-GM is a clock generator that features four input clocks and four output clocks, housed in a compact 44-QFN package measuring 7x7 mm. It is capable of generating output frequencies ranging from 100 Hz to 1028 MHz for differential signals and up to 250 MHz for LVCMOS signals. The device supports a wide input frequency range, accommodating differential inputs from 8 kHz to 750 MHz and LVCMOS inputs from 8 kHz to 250 MHz. This clock generator utilizes advanced DSPLL,Ñ¢ and MultiSynth,Ñ¢ technologies, providing ultra-low jitter performance of 90 fs rms and programmable jitter attenuation bandwidth from 0.1 Hz to 4 kHz. It is compliant with ITU-T G.8262 (SyncE) standards and offers highly configurable output options compatible with various signaling standards including LVDS, LVPECL, LVCMOS, CML, and HCSL. The SI5344A-D08372-GM supports features such as hitless input clock switching, free-run and holdover modes, and glitchless on-the-fly output frequency changes. It operates over a temperature range of -40 to +85 °C and is RoHS-6 compliant. The device can be programmed via a serial interface (I²C or SPI) and includes in-circuit programmable non-volatile memory for configuration retention.
