The SI5338M-B06852-GM is a quad clock generator that utilizes low power MultiSynth,Ñ¢ technology, allowing for independent frequency synthesis on four differential output drivers. It supports a wide range of input reference frequencies, including external crystals and various CMOS and differential inputs, with a maximum input frequency of up to 710 MHz. The device features highly configurable output drivers capable of generating up to four differential outputs or eight single-ended clock outputs, with output formats including LVPECL, LVDS, HCSL, and CMOS. This clock generator offers low phase jitter of 0.7 ps RMS typical and ensures true zero ppm frequency accuracy across all outputs. It allows for independent voltage settings per driver (1.5, 1.8, 2.5, or 3.3 V) and includes features such as glitchless frequency adjustments in 1 ppm steps and independent phase adjustments with <20 ps accuracy. The device is programmable via an I2C/SMBus-compatible interface and operates over a temperature range of -40 to +85 ¬8C.
