The SI5338L-B06237-GM is a quad clock generator that utilizes low power MultiSynth,Ñ¢ technology to synthesize any frequency on four independent output drivers. It supports PCIe Gen 1/2/3/4 common clock requirements and features highly configurable output drivers capable of delivering up to four differential outputs, eight single-ended clock outputs, or a combination of both. The device boasts a low phase jitter of 0.7 ps RMS typical and offers true zero ppm frequency accuracy across all outputs. The clock generator can accept a variety of input references, including external crystals and CMOS inputs, with a wide frequency range from 5 MHz to 710 MHz. Outputs can be independently configured to support various signal formats such as LVPECL, LVDS, HCSL, CMOS, and SSTL/HSTL, with voltage options of 1.5, 1.8, 2.5, or 3.3 V. The device also features glitchless frequency adjustments in 1 ppm steps and independent phase adjustments with <20 ps accuracy. With a compact 4x4 mm QFN package, the SI5338L-B06237-GM operates on a single supply core with a typical current consumption of 45 mA and is rated for a wide temperature range of -40 to +85 ¬8C. It is suitable for applications in Ethernet switches, PCIe clocking, broadcast video/audio timing, and various telecom and networking equipment.
