The SIM33EAU is a standalone GNSS module from SIMCom, featuring an embedded patch antenna and designed for high performance in GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS navigation. It utilizes MTK's high sensitivity navigation engine, achieving low power consumption while providing excellent sensitivity and accuracy. The module supports various features including EASY,Ñ¢ self-generated orbit prediction, EPO,Ñ¢ orbit prediction, AGPS, and SBAS ranging (WAAS, EGNOS, GAGAN, MSAS). With dimensions of 22mm x 22mm x 7.5mm and a weight of 8.5g, the SIM33EAU is compact and suitable for embedding in various applications. It operates within a power supply range of 2.8V to 4.3V, with a typical consumption of 38mA during acquisition and 32mA during tracking. The module supports a maximum update rate of 10Hz and offers a tracking sensitivity of -165 dBm, with time-to-first-fix values of 31 seconds for cold starts and less than 1 second for hot starts. The operational temperature range is from -40¬8C to +85¬8C, making it versatile for different environmental conditions.
