Memory modules which may be fitted to any S7-221/222/224 CPU modules to increase the base memory capacity. EEPROM memory is used to back up programmes and store data. Can be used as a means of storing or transferring data . Two sizes of memory module are available - 64k and 256k. A real time clock can be added to S7-221 and 222 CPUs by using the optional clock module. Simatic Micro Computing makes the visualisation of the S7-200 data possible with standard Windows applications, e.g. Excel
