The SeaI/O-530M is an RS-485 Modbus RTU interface to 16 optically isolated inputs and 16 open-collector outputs. Inputs can range from 5-30VDC, while the open-collector outputs provide high current sinking over a large operating voltage. Each open-collector output circuit includes a flyback diode for protection when interfacing highly inductive loads, such as DC motors. Inputs are grouped into four-bit segments. Each group shares a common for easy wiring via removable 3.5mm terminal blocks. Outputs are grouped in eight-bit ports which share high and low voltage inputs. The SeaI/O-530M is powered from your 9-30VDC source, or select from a variety of Sealevel power supply options. Communicate with the SeaI/O-530M using the Sealevel SeaMAX API software libraries or use any Modbus RTU compliant device.
