Surface mount fuses in the SMD-FST 5x20 series are low breaking capacity, time-lag T fuses for primary protection on PCBs. They are rated 250 VAC, measure 5.1 × 20 mm, and feature gold-plated terminals with a glass housing. Operating temperature ranges from -55 °C to 125 °C, with moisture sensitivity level MSL 1. The series supports rated currents from 0.05 A to 20 A and breaking capacities up to 125 A. Melting I²t values range from 0.0363 A²s to 3057 A²s. Power dissipation reaches 4200 mW at 20 A. The fuses comply with IEC 60127-2, UL 248-14, and CSA22.2 No. 248.14, and meet RoHS, REACH, and China RoHS standards. Approvals include VDE, UL, CCC, and CQC. Packaging is supplied in 100-piece ESD bags or 1000-piece reels on 32 mm tape with 8 mm pitch.
