The TM12 Circuit Breaker is a single pole, thermal-magnetically operated device designed for equipment protection. It features a compact design and reliable trip-free operation for overloads and short circuits, with a maximum breaking capacity suitable for circuit control functions in sensitive instruments. The device is not recommended for line protection unless the prospective short circuit current is below 200 A at 240 V AC or 400 A at 28 V DC. This circuit breaker offers various mounting options, including threaded neck and flange types, and can be equipped with a push on/push off mechanism, shunt terminal, and auxiliary contact. It has two available tripping characteristics: the T characteristic (8-12 times rated current) and the F characteristic (4-8 times rated current). The trip-free feature ensures that contacts will open during overloads even if the reset button is held down. The TM12 is rated for AC voltages up to 240 V and DC voltages up to 28 V, with a rated current range from 0.05 to 16 A. It has a conditional short circuit current rating of 1000 A and a short circuit capacity of 200 A for AC and 400 A for DC. The device is designed to withstand ambient temperatures from -5¬8C to +60¬8C and is resistant to shock and vibration, making it suitable for various applications.
