Ekinox-A is an ITAR Free Attitude & Heading Reference System (AHRS) or MRU (Motion Reference Unit).
It combines high end gyroscopes, accelerometers, magnetometers, and runs an enhanced Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) to provide Roll, Pitch, Heading, and Heave.
High performance for a cost-effective solution:
0.05° Attitude over 360°
AHRS, Vertical Gyro, MRU, IMU
200 Hz Output Rate
5 cm Real-time Auto Adjusting Heave
2.5 cm Delayed Heave
Maintenance Free
Web Interface
>48h Internal Data Logger
Robust IP68 Aluminum Enclosure
Ekinox Series Brings Robust and Cost-effective MEMS to FOG Level
Ekinox Series brings robust, maintenance free, and cost-effective MEMS to the Fiber Optic Gyro accuracy and opens up to a new world of opportunities for professionals. Thanks to a drastic selection of high end MEMS sensors, an advanced calibration procedure, and powerful algorithm design; Ekinox Series achieves the tactical grade (0.05°attitude accuracy) in a compact and affordable package.
Applications
Marine
Ekinox-A is a powerful and cost-effective solution for ship motion monitoring, Buoys, ROV, Sonar, LiDAR, Camera motion compensation, etc. This motion sensor computes enhanced heave based on position and speed computation, and robust heading even during turns thanks to Dual Antenna GPS inputs. Ekinox sensors are compatible with all hydrographic software (Hypack, QPS, Teledyne PDS, etc.).
Land
With a low latency (<3 ms), a high output rate (200Hz), and a very low noise on Euler Angles (<0.03°), the Ekinox-A is a cost-effective alternative to FOG technology for mobile land equipment orientation & stabilization such as antenna, targeting systems, gyro stabilized camera, etc.
Aerospace
IP68 and temperature calibrated from -40° to 75°C, Ekinox-A is designed for harsh environments, and delivers unmatched precision in high vibrating conditions (MIL-STD-810G). Ekinox-A is the ideal solution for embedded equipment orientation and stabilization such as LIDAR, Gyro-stabilized camera, etc.
Complementary Equipment and Software
Connection, Synchronization, and Positioning
The SplitBox provides a simplified interface for easy connection with external equipment such as odometer, differential corrections, computers, or survey instruments.
Software Development Kit (SDK)
The Software Development Kit (SDK) is a very quick and easy way to evaluate SBG Systems products, and to record and export data in various formats. In just a few seconds, you start evaluating and configuring your device and integrate it in your system.
In the Starting box
Every industry has its own constraints. Our Sales Engineers will work with you to recommend the right solution for your project. The selected inertial sensor will be shipped with a quick start guide and its own calibration report. A robust and waterproof transport case is fitted to contain other ordered items such as cables, GNSS antennas, etc.
