The STR-X6769 is an off-line quasi-resonant switching regulator designed for switch-mode power supply (SMPS) applications. It features a low EMI noise profile and soft-switching capabilities, which enhance efficiency and reduce electromagnetic interference, particularly at frequencies above 2 MHz. The device supports output power levels of up to 310 W at 230 VAC and 200 W at universal input. This product incorporates a bottom-skip mode that optimizes efficiency across varying load conditions by minimizing the increase in switching frequency at light loads. Additionally, it includes an auto-standby mode to lower input power during very light load conditions, as well as a manual standby mode for further power reduction. The STR-X6769 is equipped with multiple protection features, including pulse-by-pulse overcurrent limiting, overvoltage protection, overload protection, and a maximum on-time limit, which collectively enhance system reliability. The device is housed in a 7-pin TO-3P package and is suitable for applications such as set-top boxes, LCD monitors, printers, and general SMPS power supplies.
