The APS12626 is a 2D Hall-effect sensor IC with planar and vertical Hall elements, optimized for ring magnets in automotive and industrial applications. It provides quadrature outputs (Channel A/B) and operates from 2.8 to 5.5 V with a junction temperature rating up to 175°C. Packaged in a 5-pin SOT23-W (LH) surface-mount format, it is AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualified and ASIL A compliant when used as specified. The device includes output short-circuit protection and restores state after power cycling with the -P option. Output signal axes are selectable via XY, ZX, or ZY configurations.
