The APS12625 is a 2D Hall-effect speed and direction sensor IC optimized for use with ring magnets, featuring orthogonal planar and vertical Hall elements that provide quadrature-independent sensing without target optimization. It operates from a 2.8 V to 5.5 V supply, is qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 0 for operation up to 175°C junction temperature, and includes output short-circuit protection. The device is housed in a 5-pin SOT23-W surface-mount package (designator LH) and offers Speed and Direction outputs in an XY sensing axis configuration. It supports power-on state restore functionality when ordered with the -P option and is RoHS-compliant with matte tin plating.
