The APS12210LLHALT is a three-wire, high-temperature precision Hall-effect latch designed for automotive safety-related systems with ASIL A compliance under ISO 26262. It operates from a 2.8 V to 24 V unregulated supply and withstands junction temperatures up to 175°C. The device features reverse-battery and 40 V load dump protection, output short-circuit and overvoltage protection, and ±12 kV HBM ESD immunity. It is housed in a 3-pin SOT23W surface-mount package and has a magnetic switch point of -80 G to 80 G. The output is an open-drain configuration with chopper stabilization for temperature stability and solid-state reliability.
