The APS11500 is a two-wire planar Hall-effect switch designed for automotive safety systems, featuring ASIL A compliance per ISO 26262 and operation from -40°C to 175°C junction temperature. It includes integrated reverse-battery protection, a 40 V load-dump clamp, and an internal voltage regulator, enabling direct battery connection. The part is available in a 3-pin SIP through-hole package (UA) with options for unipolar south sensing, a flat temperature coefficient, and a switch threshold magnitude of 50-110 G (BOP) and 45-105 G (BRP). Output current levels are selectable between 2-5 mA and 5-6.9 mA. The device supports SmCo, NdFeB, and ferrite magnets and is qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 0.
