The A3240EUA is a chopper-stabilized Hall-effect switch in a three-lead ultra-mini-SIP through-hole package, designed for operation from a 4.2 to 24 V unregulated supply. It features an open-collector output capable of sinking up to 25 mA, reverse battery protection, and output short-circuit protection. The device operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and employs dynamic offset cancellation for temperature stability up to 150°C. Magnetic actuation requires a south pole of sufficient strength to trigger the switch. This part is not for new design and has been superseded by the A1120.
