ThermaCool¬Æ TC3008 is a soft ceramic-filled silicone elastomer gap filler designed for high-performance applications. It features a thermal conductivity of 3.0 W/m-K and is available in thicknesses ranging from 0.5 mm to 7.0 mm. The product is intrinsically tacky, allowing for excellent compression performance with minimal force applied to component parts. It can be supplied with a PET release liner on both sides or with fabric support on one side for enhanced handling and cut resistance in demanding applications. The TC3008 operates effectively within a temperature range of -65¬8F to 392¬8F (-54¬8C to 200¬8C) and exhibits a Shore 00 hardness of 65. It has a voltage breakdown of over 5000 VAC and a volume resistivity of 3.5 vó 10^11 ohm-cm, making it suitable for electrical insulation. The gap filler is particularly applicable in power conversion equipment, telecommunications, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, and thermal modules to heat sinks. Its shelf life is 12 months when stored properly.
