The material exhibits excellent weatherability, compression set resistance, and electrical strength, along with non-stick properties. This product meets various industry standards, including UL 50E for electrical enclosures and MIL-R-6130 Type II, Grade B and C. It has a soft density that requires low compression force and maintains resiliency under extended compression. Typical properties include a compression deflection of 5 psi (35 kPa), elongation of 75%, tensile strength of 50 psi (345 kPa), and a density of 21 lbs./ft¬= (332 kg/m¬=). Water absorption is less than 5%, ensuring durability in various applications.
