Metal bond premium diamond, MB-P is a high purity, metal bond, monocrystalline diamond powder exclusively designed for the manufacture of PDC (polycrsytalline diamond) inserts used in drilling bits for oil and gas exploration. This diamond type often termed, "sintering diamond", has low surface and intrinsic impurities in the PPM (parts per million) range. MBP diamond should be considered as a serious candidate for applications in which extrinsic and intrinsic chemical purity is paramount.
