h-old 8825 is a double-coated adhesive tape made from 50 micron polyester film, featuring a solvent-based silicone adhesive on both sides. This product is designed for applications requiring good initial tack and adhesion to siliconized substrates and various materials, including silicone gaskets and profiles. It exhibits very high heat resistance, with a short-term temperature tolerance of up to 220 ¬8C and a continuous operating range from -40 ¬8C to +160 ¬8C. The tape has a total thickness of 0.125 mm and a peel adhesion of 2.50 N/cm on steel. It is suitable for use in the paper and plastic industries, tape splicing, and the cable industry. The product has a shelf life of six months and is provided in a standard length of 50 m and width of 1000 mm.
