Easy Application for a Tough, Economical Hardfacing Solution
Tuf-Cote® ropes require minimal capital investment to apply: Overlays are brazed onto parts using an acetylene-oxygen torch, which can be done in shop or on site. In addition to saving money in the application process, Tuf-Cote® ropes deliver extremely tough, wear-resistant overlays that significantly extend the life of parts & equipment.
Technically Superior Chemistry for Maximum Toughness
Chemically, Tuf-Cote® ropes feature a tungsten carbide base with a nickel self-fluxing matrix. Saint-Gobain offers these hardfacing materials in spherical or angular forms, with a range of formulations designed to meet specific process needs.
