The 8503K9 is a one-pole, maintained-action, environmentally sealed lever lock switch from the 8503 series, meeting MIL-DTL-3950 specifications. It features a 15/32"-32 thread bushing, thermoset molding materials compliant with flame retardant requirements, and operates from -85°F to +160°F. The switch supports a 5A resistive load at 115VAC and 3A resistive load at 28VDC, with a mechanical life of 40,000 operations and an electrical life of 20,000 operations at rated load. Terminal connections use #6-32 screw terminals with internal tooth lockwashers. The mounting dimensions include a 0.480-inch diameter hole and a 15/32-inch diameter bushing. The lever locking position is designated as G, where the lever locks in the ON position when moved to the center and stops at the OFF detent. Non-functional terminals are not supplied.
