S 960 CY is a shielded continuous flex control cable designed for applications requiring a small bending radius. It features red conductors made of bare copper strands, insulated with PVC, and has a tinned copper braid for shielding. The cable is rated for a nominal voltage of 300/500 V and can handle up to 600 V according to UL/CSA standards. It operates effectively in a temperature range from -40¬8C to +90¬8C, with a minimum bending radius of 7.5 times the outer diameter. The cable is flame retardant and self-extinguishing, meeting various safety standards including IEC and CSA. S 960 CY is a very flexible, shielded multi-conductor 90°C, 600 V cable designed for continuous flex applications. An overall tinned copper shield is recommended
whenever electrical interference distorts signal transmission, or when EMI emissions need to be suppressed. The S 960 CY is designed for use on gantry
robots, cable tracks, pick and place units, automated handling equipment, machine tools, conveyor systems and other continuous flexing applications.
