The UCC2809P-2 is a primary side controller designed for offline and isolated DC-to-DC fixed frequency current mode switching power supplies. It features user-programmable soft start and maximum duty cycle, making it adaptable for various applications. The device operates with a low startup current of 100¬µA and includes undervoltage lockout (UVLO) functionality. It can operate at frequencies up to 1MHz and provides a 5V reference output. The output stage is capable of sourcing 0.4A and sinking 0.8A, suitable for driving N-Channel MOSFETs. The UCC2809P-2 is available in an 8-pin VSSOP package, making it suitable for applications where board space is limited. It is rated for operation in the temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C.
