The SJA1105TEL518 is a 5-port automotive Ethernet switch compliant with IEEE 802.3 standards. It features individual port configuration for MII, RMII, and RGMII modes, supporting data rates of 10, 100, and 1000 Mbit/s. This switch is designed for automotive applications, including gateway functions, body domain controllers, and interconnecting multiple electronic control units (ECUs). It supports Time-Triggered Ethernet (TTEthernet) and Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), making it suitable for advanced driver assistance systems and infotainment applications. The device operates within an automotive grade temperature range of -40¬8C to +105¬8C and is qualified according to AEC-Q100 standards. It includes a 128 kB frame buffer, a 1024 entry MAC address learning table, and supports up to 4096 VLANs with QoS handling. The SJA1105TEL518 also features hardware support for AVB traffic, frame replication, and diagnostics, along with ingress and egress timestamping capabilities.
