The MAX5068EAUE+ is a high-frequency, current-mode PWM controller designed for AC-DC or DC-DC power supply applications. It supports both isolated and non-isolated configurations and features a programmable internal oscillator with a frequency range from 12.5kHz to 1.25MHz, allowing for flexibility in system design. The device includes an input undervoltage lockout (UVLO) to ensure proper operation during brownout conditions and offers programmable dead time and slope compensation for enhanced stability. This controller is specified for an automotive temperature range of -40¬8C to +125¬8C and comes in a 16-pin thermally enhanced TSSOP-EP package. It provides a maximum duty cycle of 50% for the MAX5068A/B variants and up to 75% for the MAX5068C/D/E/F variants. Additional features include programmable hiccup current limit for fault protection and a synchronization input for external clock synchronization.
