The MAX354CPE is a fault-protected analog multiplexer featuring a single 8-channel configuration. It operates with a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 36V for single supply or ¬±4.5V to ¬±18V for dual supplies. The device is designed to protect sensitive circuit components from overvoltage conditions up to 40V beyond the supply rails during power-up, power-down, and fault scenarios. It has a maximum on-resistance of 350,Ѷ and low input leakage current, specified at less than 0.5nA at +25¬8C and less than 5nA at +85¬8C. The MAX354CPE is compatible with both TTL and CMOS logic levels, requiring no pull-up resistors, and guarantees break-before-make operation. Power consumption is low, at less than 1.5mW.
