The FOD2711 is an optically isolated error amplifier integrating a precision 1.240V ±1% reference, an error amplifier, and a GaAs phototransistor optocoupler in an 8-pin DIP package. It is designed for isolated AC-DC and DC-DC power supply regulation, providing 5,000V RMS isolation and current transfer ratio between 100% and 200%. The device operates from -40°C to +85°C, with an input LED forward voltage of 1.5V and a maximum LED current of 20 mA. It meets UL, CSA, VDE, and BSI safety approvals. The FOD2711SR2 is a surface-mount variant with the same functional characteristics as the DIP package, differing only in lead configuration and packaging.
