Each potentiometer consists of 63 equi-resistive sections and provides three accessible terminals: high side (H_X), low side (L_X), and wiper (W_X). The device supports two interface control options: a 5-wire serial interface and a 2-wire addressable interface, allowing for flexible integration into various applications. This model has a standard resistance value of 10 kOc and operates within an industrial temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C. The DS1844-010 is available in multiple package types, including 20-pin DIP, SOIC, and TSSOP. It is a volatile device that powers up with wiper positions set to mid-tap.
