The ADG406BN is a monolithic CMOS analog multiplexer designed to switch one of sixteen inputs to a common output, controlled by a 4-bit binary address. It operates within a supply voltage range of up to 44 V and supports both single and dual supply configurations, functioning effectively with a minimum supply voltage of +5 V. The device features low on-resistance of 80 Oc maximum, fast switching times with tON less than 160 ns and tOFF less than 150 ns, and a break-before-make switching action to prevent shorting during transitions. This multiplexer is suitable for various applications, including audio and video routing, automatic test equipment, data acquisition systems, and battery-powered systems. Its enhanced LC¬=MOS process ensures low power dissipation, making it ideal for high-speed data applications while maintaining signal integrity across a wide input range.
