The 2SK596S-C is an N-channel JFET designed for low-noise audio applications such as condenser microphones and telephones. It is packaged in the SPA (SC-72) case, measuring 7.0 mm by 4.0 mm. The device has a maximum gate-to-drain voltage of -20 V, a drain current of 1 mA, and a power dissipation of 100 mW. Drain current (IDSS) ranges from 210 to 350 µA, with a forward transfer admittance of 1.0 mS maximum. Input capacitance is 4.1 pF and reverse transfer capacitance is 0.88 pF at VDS=5 V. Output noise voltage is -110 dB max under specified test conditions. The operating junction temperature ranges from -55°C to 150°C.
