The DAIHEN Almega FW Series Arc Cell is shipped as pre-engineered modular components to reduce installation time. It is designed with forklift pockets to allow for easy placement in your manufacturing area. Mechanical installation is quick and simple, usually accomplished in just a few hours. The DAIHEN Almega FW Series (Ferris Wheel) Arc Cell welding system is perfect for welding larger parts ranging from 102" in length and 41" (1050 mm) in diameter. The 3 axes positioner allows the robot to weld both the front and back of the part without operator intervention. bsp; The FW Series can also have multiple fixtures per side to weld numerous smaller parts instead of a single large part should this method of production be preferred. In addition, the FW Series is fully compatible with all DAIHEN robot software. Software options like Synchromotion can easily be implemented should it be necessary for the positioner to work in coordinated motion with the robot The overall safety environment of the FW Series incorporates tamper resistant, safety interlocks, fully enclosed robot-operating area with protective arc shielding. Other features include protective light curtain to prevent the Ferris Wheel Positioner from indexing while the operator is in the "working area" of the system.
