RobotWorx Motoman SP80 Robot

Designed specifically for palletizing applications, the 5-axis Motoman SP80X is a high speed solution with an 80kg payload. The SP80X has a wide, 360 degreebsp; work envelope that can service multiple infeed conveyors and a single pallet loading station. Requiring minimal space, the Motoman SP80X is ideal as an end of line palletizing solution. This economical robot provides the advantages of high-speed, high-performance palletizing, combined with a slim wrist and compact design. The five-axis design of the Motoman SP80X does not use parallel links for the lower or upper arm, which eliminates interference zones within the work envelope. Its fast axial speeds reduce cycle time and increase production output. Other features include advanced Sigma motors and internally routed air and I/O signal lines. PC based, off-line programming software is available as an option to simplify programming of palletizing applications.
