RobotWorx Motoman SDA5D Robot

The Motoman SDA5D assembly robot provides "human-like" flexibility in assembly applications. This robot has two arms, 7 axes per arm, and one axis for base rotation. The arms can work together to double their payload capacity to 10kg (5kg per arm), which is the lowest payload in the SDA series, or they can work separately to accelerate assembly, part transfer, machine tending, packaging, or other handling applications. Cables and hoses are routed internally to reduce wear and simplify programming. With an 845mm horizontal reach, 1,118mm vertical reach, and 0.06mm repeatability, the Motoman SDA5D robot performs tasks that used to be completed only by humans. This dual-armed robot provides efficiency and savings in an increasingly automated world.
