Rigaku Corporation CCD X-Ray Detector for Macromolecular Crystallography Saturn A200 HG

The Saturn A200 HG is the largest aperture CCD detector available for the home laboratory designed to provide fast, accurate data to high resolution on a wide variety of samples. The A200 provides the ability to resolve 4 times as many diffraction orders as a conventional CCD detector while providing the sensitivity needed for a home laboratory source. Eighteen bit digitization provides maximum signal-to-noise and dynamic range. The detector is cooled by a pair of Joule-Thompson coolers for low maintenance. The detector provide diagnostics and warnings via a two LCD panels on each side. Readout is less than 1 second for an unbinned image and the software is pipelined to allow for simultaneous exposure and processing for highest throughput.
