The RF628 is a high-speed 2D laser profiler designed for non-contact measurement of surface profile, dimensions, and deformation, with a sampling rate exceeding 4000 profiles per second in full range mode and up to 16000 profiles per second in ROI mode. It features 640 or 1280 X-axis resolution points, 0.01% linearity, and operates with RED, BLUE, or IR lasers of Class 2M per IEC/EN 60825-1:2014. The device supports trigger and encoder synchronization, has Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, and UDP protocol outputs, and is housed in an IP67-rated aluminum/glass enclosure. It operates in ambient temperatures from -20°C to +40°C, or up to +120°C with integrated cooling, and withstands 20 g vibration and 30 g shock. Power consumption is 17 W, and it is compatible with a 9 to 30 V or 12 to 36 V power supply depending on laser type.
The laser scanners (profilers) are intended for non-contact measuring and checking of surface profile, dimensions, sorting and sensing of technological objects, 3D models construction. In RF627Smart the analysis, calculations, measurements, tolerance control are carried out directly inside scanner according to the algorithm created by the user. Measurement results can be transmitted via various protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, UDP), as well as to the logic outputs of the scanner in order to control the actuators and notify about product suitability. In addition, Smart scanners (profilers) contain built-in protocols for interaction with various industrial robots and cobots, allowing the scanners to be integrated into automation systems without the need to purchase additional equipment.
