The RT7250BZSP is a synchronous step-down DC-DC converter designed to deliver up to 2A output current with an input voltage range of 4V to 17V. It operates at fixed frequencies of either 340kHz or 800kHz, providing high efficiency of up to 95%. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.8V to 12V, making it suitable for various applications. This regulator features a current mode control architecture that optimizes transient response and includes multiple protection mechanisms such as cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, input under voltage lockout, output under voltage protection, output over voltage protection, and thermal shutdown. The device also has a low shutdown current of less than 5OºA, which is beneficial for battery-powered systems. The RT7250BZSP is housed in an SOP-8 package with an exposed pad for enhanced thermal performance, and it is compliant with RoHS standards.
