The RT6239ALGQUF is a synchronous step-down DC-DC converter designed to deliver up to 9A of output current with an input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V. It features an adjustable output voltage from 0.7V to 8V and operates at a steady switching frequency of 500kHz. The converter utilizes Advanced Constant On-Time (ACOT,Ñ¢) control architecture, which allows for quick transient response and stable operation with small ceramic output capacitors, eliminating the need for complex external compensation. The device includes internal power switches with a high-side N-MOSFET featuring a 30mOc on-resistance and a low-side N-MOSFET with a 12mOc on-resistance, contributing to high efficiency, which can reach up to 95%. It is optimized for use with ceramic capacitors and includes several protection features such as cycle-by-cycle current limit, input under-voltage lockout, output over- and under-voltage protection, and thermal shutdown. The RT6239ALGQUF is housed in a compact UQFN-14L 2x3 package with an exposed thermal pad, making it suitable for applications in industrial and commercial low power systems, computer peripherals, and point of load regulation for high-performance DSPs, FPGAs, and ASICs.
