Creating extruded brick takes clays ground in a dry pan, mixed (wet or dry) brought to the desired consistency then extruded through the die of an auger machine. Air is removed from the clay before extrusion creating columns which are cut into bricks by a wire. After the brick is repressed it enters the tunnel kiln or a humidity drier.
