The Cable Cutter, 15mm, 170mm from Rennsteig is designed for cutting single-strand, multi-strand, and fine-wire aluminum and copper cables with a maximum diameter of 15mm. It features a special cutting geometry that allows for smooth and clean trimming without crushing or deforming the cable. The cutter is ergonomically designed for one-handed operation and includes an optional opening spring for ease of use. It meets aerospace specifications AS6173/3 and is suitable for tin-, nickel-, and silver-coated copper cables, as well as high-strength copper alloys and aluminum cables. However, it is not suitable for cutting steel wire, wire rope, or hard-drawn copper cables.
