The MPC9772AER2 is a 3.3 V compatible, 1:12 PLL-based clock generator designed for high-performance clock distribution in networking, computing, and telecom applications. It supports output frequencies up to 240 MHz with a maximum output skew of less than 250 ps, making it suitable for demanding clock applications. This device features an internal power-on reset, an on-chip crystal oscillator, and two LVCMOS PLL reference clock inputs. It allows for extensive frequency programmability across its 12 outputs, supporting various output and feedback dividers. The outputs can be individually disabled for power management, and the device can drive up to 24 clock lines. The MPC9772AER2 operates within an ambient temperature range of 0¬8C to +70¬8C and is packaged in a 52-lead Pb-free LQFP package. It is pin and function compatible with the MPC972, providing a drop-in replacement option.
