The ISL98611IIZ-T is a high-efficiency LED driver and display power supply designed for small displays, such as those found in smartphones. It features an integrated boost regulator, LDO, and inverting charge pump to generate regulated positive and negative voltages, adjustable from ¬±4.5V to ¬±6V. The device achieves over 88% efficiency for display power and up to 93% efficiency for driving LED backlights, supporting up to 12 LEDs. This LED driver provides excellent current matching, with ¬±2.2% accuracy down to 1mA and ¬±2.8% at 50OºA, which enhances brightness uniformity in LCD displays. It supports multiple dimming methods, including analog, PWM, and hybrid dimming, to optimize LED performance while minimizing color shift.
