The ISL98604IRTZ is a high power, fully programmable 6-channel output control IC designed for large panel LCD displays. It integrates a boost converter for AVDD generation, an asynchronous buck regulator for VIO supply, and two synchronous buck regulators for HAVDD and VCORE supply generation. The AVDD boost converter operates at 750kHz and can output voltages from 12.7V to 19.0V with a peak current of 4.0A. The VIO buck regulator features a 2A FET and operates at the same frequency, while the HAVDD and VCORE outputs are programmable from 6.4V to 9.55V and 0.9V to 2.4V, respectively. The device includes dual linear regulator controllers for generating VON and VOFF voltages, with VON offering temperature compensation. All output voltages are programmable via IIC and stored in EEPROM, allowing for flexible configuration. The ISL98604IRTZ operates with an input supply range of 8V to 16.5V and includes features such as overvoltage protection, internal delay for power sequencing, and thermal protection. It is housed in a thermally enhanced 5x5mm Thin QFN package and is RoHS compliant. This product is not recommended for new designs.
