The ISL97652IRZ-T is a high-power integrated LCD supply IC designed for large panel LCD displays. It features a boost converter for AVDD generation, dual charge pump controllers for VON and VOFF, and a buck regulator for logic supply generation. The boost converter operates at either 650kHz or 1.3MHz and includes a 2.8A peak FET, overvoltage protection, and programmable soft-start functionality. The asynchronous buck converter has a 2.5A peak FET and separate enable and soft-start controls. This device also incorporates dual high-speed VCOM amplifiers with high output current capability, which are permanently enabled when AVIN is present. The VON output is processed through an integrated VON-slice circuit to minimize flicker. The ISL97652IRZ-T is housed in a thermally enhanced 48-lead 7mm x 7mm QFN package and is specified for operation over a temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C. It is suitable for applications such as LCD TVs and industrial or medical LCD displays.
