Renesas Electronics Corporation Gate Drivers ISL6613ECB-T

The ISL6613ECB-T is a high-frequency gate driver designed for synchronous rectified buck converters, capable of driving both upper and lower N-channel MOSFETs with adjustable gate voltages ranging from 5V to 12V. It features advanced adaptive zero shoot-through protection to prevent simultaneous conduction of the MOSFETs, thereby minimizing dead time. The driver supports high switching frequencies up to 2MHz and has a sinking current capability of 3A, ensuring fast rise and fall times with low propagation delays. This product includes several protection features such as pre-POR overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, and over-temperature protection with a typical shutdown temperature of +150¬8C. The ISL6613ECB-T is packaged in an 8-lead EPSOIC format, which enhances PCB efficiency and allows for better heat dissipation through an expandable bottom copper pad. It is suitable for applications including core voltage regulators for Intel and AMD microprocessors, as well as high current DC/DC converters.
