The ISL6612BCBZ is a high-frequency MOSFET driver designed for synchronous rectified buck converters, specifically driving upper and lower N-Channel MOSFETs in a half-bridge configuration. It is housed in an 8-lead SOIC package with dimensions compliant with JEDEC MS-012-AA, and features a three-state PWM input for output stage shutdown, pre-POR overvoltage protection, and adaptive zero shoot-through protection. The device supports a VCC supply range of 7V to 13.2V and a PVCC range of 5V to 12V, enabling flexible gate drive voltages. It has a 3A sinking current capability, fast rise and fall times, and operates up to 2MHz. The package includes an expandable bottom copper pad for enhanced thermal performance. The part is RoHS compliant and meets the recommended operating temperature range of 0°C to +85°C. It is pin-compatible with the HIP6601 SOIC family and designed for use in POL DC/DC converters and core regulators for Intel® and AMD® microprocessors.
