The ISL6609A is a synchronous rectified MOSFET driver designed to drive two N-channel power MOSFETs in a synchronous-rectified buck converter topology, typically paired with Intersil multiphase PWM controllers for advanced microprocessor core voltage regulation. It operates from a single 5V supply and features adaptive shoot-through protection, a 4A typical sink current for the lower gate driver, and an integrated bootstrap diode. The ISL6609A includes bootstrap capacitor overcharge prevention and recognizes a high-impedance state to prevent negative output voltage transients. It is housed in an 8-lead 3x3 mm QFN package compliant with JEDEC MO-220, and is Pb-free and RoHS compliant.
