The ISL6605 is a synchronous rectified MOSFET driver designed to control two N-Channel MOSFETs in a buck converter topology for advanced microprocessor core voltage regulation. It is packaged in an 8-lead 3mm x 3mm QFN format, compliant with JEDEC MO-220 QFN outline, and features an exposed thermal pad for improved heat dissipation. The device operates from a 5V ±10% supply and includes adaptive shoot-through protection, an internal bootstrap Schottky diode, and a three-state PWM input for safe power stage shutdown. It provides 4A typical sink current for the lower gate driver and has a propagation delay of 8ns with rise and fall times under 10ns. The part is RoHS compliant and meets the -40°C to 85°C ambient temperature range for industrial operation.
