The ISL6540A is a single-phase buck PWM controller with integrated high-speed synchronous MOSFET drivers, designed for DC/DC converters in microprocessor and GPU power supplies. It is housed in a 28-lead 5mm × 5mm QFN package and supports input voltage operation from 3.3V to 20V. The controller features a 0.591V internal reference with ±1.0% tolerance over the industrial temperature range, 2A/4A gate drivers, programmable oscillator from 250kHz to 2MHz, differential remote voltage sensing, pre-biased soft-start, and overcurrent, overvoltage, and undervoltage protections. The ISL6540AIRZ variant operates from -40°C to +85°C and is RoHS compliant.
