The ISL6539IA-T is a dual PWM controller designed for high-efficiency voltage regulation in applications such as DDR DRAM, SDRAM, and graphic chipsets. It provides regulated output voltages ranging from 0.9V to 5.5V and supports both DDR-I and DDR2 memory configurations. The controller features lossless rDS(ON) current sensing, excellent dynamic response through voltage feed-forward and current mode control, and can operate directly from a 5.0V to 15V input or a 3.3V/5V system rail. This device includes comprehensive protection features such as undervoltage lockout, power-good signals, overcurrent, overvoltage, and undervoltage protection for both output channels. In DDR mode, it can generate a reference voltage for DDR memory and allows for current sourcing and sinking on the second channel. The ISL6539IA-T is RoHS compliant and comes in a 28-lead QSOP package, making it suitable for various applications including servers, motherboards, FPGAs, and ASIC power supplies.
